I've been making costumes since I was a kid. It started with making Barbie outfits from scrap fabric and Scotch tape; then I learned how to thread a needle and make some elementary stitches. I have not looked back since.
I graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a degree in theatre. During my years there, I worked on the costume crew for several shows and further strengthened my skills. I have also served as a costumer for Vintage Theatre and Curious Theatre Company. This is what I love to do, and if I can make a career out of this I will be one happy little penguin. Seriously, have you seen the video of the penguin being tickled by zookeepers? That's how happy I'd be.
