I’m an animator and motion capture technician here at Luma Pictures in Santa Monica, CA. Luma Pictures is a visual effects studio. We’ve worked on such films as Underworld 4, Captain America, Thor, and X-Men: First Class. I am going to show you our new OptiTrack motion capture stage, the equipment and space itself, how we suit up and work with an actor, the pipeline of actually capturing the data inside of the software, and how we get it through our pipeline and onto the big screen.
