This is an oil painting of mine that's showing my view on war. I have a sphere on the left shooting a cannon and a square on the right also shooting a cannon to symbolize differences colliding. A lot of wars stem from some kind of a difference between the two sides so i thought a traditional sphere and square would be perfect. Both sides are shooting out a variety of abstract shapes which are meeting in the middle of the canvas. I wanted the middle to be cluttered and somewhat messy to symbolize the effects of war. Everything seems to get messy and complicated when a war is declared so the mess of shapes in the middle is my attempt at portraying that. Enjoy!
