We are looking for a passionate, multi-talented and enthusiastic Web and Graphic Designer to join our rapidly growing design team. Candidate must be a self-directed team player able to communicate well, and have the ability to juggle multiple projects, proactively solve problems, deliver against tight-deadlines in a fast paced environment, and hit the ground running
Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

* Create design layouts in Photoshop, and work closely with other team members to build them out in XHTML/CSS
* Prepare and slice design comps into structured images for web
* Create valid XHTML/CSS web pages, adhering to W3C and creative department standards. Use appropriate compression methods to deliver fast loading pages
* Work with the creative team members to stay current on evolving design/coding standards and practices
* In addition to landing pages and websites, typical projects include designing e-mails, banner ads, print collateral, animations, icons, logos, and more as needed
* Capacity to "turn and burn" when necessary to meet tight deadlines

Required Technical Skills:

* Must be a great designer with knowledge of CS4, HTML, and CSS (table less) design
* Thorough understanding of web standards
* Familiar with current design trends and emerging technologies
* Experience with ActionScript 3.0 a plus

Requirements:

* 2-5 years experience in a web design role is preferred but talent takes precedence over years of experience. All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
* * Strong Web/Interactive Portfolio required

* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
* Ability to accurately estimate design and development timelines and meet tight deadlines

* Are proactive and have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Able to collaborate with others but also work independently
