Lead Industrial Designer @ LUNAR
About You: You've taken the time to look at our website, and you don't just want to work for any award-winning design firm; you want to work for LUNAR. You've earned at least a BA in Industrial Design and have 5-8 years experience, which has given you a sense of vision, strategy, and a strong and unique point of view. You are eager to challenge Industrial Design boundaries to create work that stands out in a meaningful and impactful way.
You are comfortable interacting with and presenting to clients, and are able to identify strategic opportunities where design can make a difference, and establish design directions that inspire and infuse projects with deeper meaning and authentic stories. A skilled communicator, you are also highly organized and have experience in collaborating with Research/UX Designers and Engineers, as well as managing contractors and vendors. You are creative, passionate, and are unwilling to compromise your drive to create stunning and engaging designed experiences that make a difference to our clients, their brand, and their customers.
Desired Skills & Experience
Specific Skills
5-8 years of experience.
Bachelor or Master Degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Design.
Unique ideation process and sketching style, exploration and/or validation mock-up.
High level of confidence and articulation of your design approach and POV.
Proficient in 3D CAD (SWX preferred, Rhino or Alias OK), rendering packages, and Adobe suite of software tools.
International experience is a benefit.
