DETAIL DESCRIPTION
Requirements:
SAICs Energy, Environment & Infrastructure Business Unit (formerly Patrick Energy Services) continues to expand its operations, and seeks a highly motivated, customer-oriented CAD Designer to join the team in Wayne PA. This is a strategically important position that will have a large impact on an already successful organization.
This position requires an electrical designer with 5+ years of experience in investor-owned utility and/or industrial high-voltage substation and/or protection and control design. The candidate must have a background in substation design packages. This design experience should include most of the following: general arrangement drawings, sections, and installation detail drawings, control building arrangement and detail drawings, conduit and grounding layout and detail drawings, electrical control schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable schedules. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams. Substation Automation and/or process control and/or SCADA experience is desirable. Experience with voltages up to 138 kV is desirable. This position will be part of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and CAD technicians. AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is required; experience with both is desirable. An associate degree in electrical technology is desirable.
