I modeled, textured and rendered these models for presentations I'll be doing in various conventions and events across the province of Québec to showcase the company I work for. The presentation is on the new “Autodesk design suite 2012 ” which includes: AutoCAD 2012, Sketchbook designer 2012, MudBox 2012, Showcase 2012 and 3DS Max 2012...That's one hell of a solution if you ask me! In that presentation I go through the process, interoperability and work flows within the suite with the objective of laying out plans for production.

The vectorial 2D and most 3D were done with the draw, solid and surface editing tools in AutoCAD.
The pick guards were hand draw with vectors in Sketchbook designer 2012 and extruded in AutoCAD 2012.
The various body and texture variations were done in Mudbox 2012.
Rendering was done with Showcase and 3Ds Max (Mental Ray and IRay).

This was a very fun project to do since my superiors gave me a green light and a whole week to develop it .They told me to do something cool, so I figured : electric guitars are cool ! :).

* The last image is a render of the original Fender Telecaster. All the other renders are variations on the look and feel of the guitar... But not the sound!
