As a fabrication and construction assistant for Vivian Lee, I had the pleasure of working with Patrick Ethen, Jon Swendris, and Nathan Smalligan on this short design and build project. Apart from harvesting thatch, proposing initial massing schemes, preparing cut files, and putting the thing together, my time was devoted to CNC waterjet cutting the combs that comprised the structure.
