All of these sketches were done in Switzerland while I was teaching at Art Center Europe. They were examples for my 4th term sketching and rendering class. The idea was to pick an animal, in my case a bat, and then let it inspire the design of a fantasy vehicle. The sketches in this portfolio were done on one roll of newsprint that measures about 60' in length and was about 8" in height. The tools used vary from Prismacolor pencil to Pilot High Tec C and a little marker here and there.
