If I had to pick one art movement that has fascinated me since my first days in art school they would have to be Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Yeah I know (just one) but I can't have one without the other. If you look around neither can our contemporary architects and artist friends. You can't escape it. It's everywhere: buildings, movie posters, smart phones. People are naturally attracted to the lines both rigid and flowing from these period. Wall of Inspiration

A while ago I started what my friend coined as "the drawer of inspiration." Every time I found something I "liked" I would toss it in the old metal cabinet by by the door. Eventually that turned into a wall of inspiration made up of everything from flyers I found near the local watering hole in Hollywood to direct marketing pieces laying around the post office.
