When people think about graffiti or the "art of" they usually associate it with the outdoors. The side of a train or the ubiquitous wall are the canvas of choice for most aerosol artists. The Art of the Streets has been permeating the higher echelons of art for years now, with pseudo-celebrity artists making headline news earlier this year or with high profile heists like the Marc Ecko gallery theft, it would seem our Artists have are finally coming out of the shadows and are getting the respect they deserved.

Here in the states we seldom get exposed to the cornucopia of persuasive creative that daily tries to convince people like you and me in other countries to buy, sell, consume, entertain, drink, lie to our girlfriends (this usually goes hand in hand with the drinking ads,) drive faster, loose weight, live healthier or trade stock. Yes, the elements are all the same, but the delivery is usually a little different. Let's see what these modern day "Mad Men" are dishing out these days to our global friends using photography, video, animation, & 3D.

The problem:
An empty bridge -
An intersection where 7 out of 10 pedestrians dangerously cross [the street]

An idea!
Monday, September 27
9 out of 10 people crossed using the bridge during the installation.

Koralie and SupaKitch are two acclaimed street artists from France who share equal success in their own right. Projects include Converse, Emilie Simon, Artoyz, and Kidrobot.
