CANADA HERE WE COME!

Filter Foundry is going to the land of Maple Syrup, Poutine, & Robin Sparkles to rub elbows with some of the best creative and technical minds in the world. Make sure to drop by the Filter Foundry Blog next week for updates of what's going on.

In case you have been living under a rock (with the guys from Geico,) here's SIGGRAPH in a nutshell:

"The SIGGRAPH conference attracts the most respected technical and creative people from all over planet Earth. The SIGGRAPH community includes: people everywhere who are excited by research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education, and the web. SIGGRAPH 2011 is sponsored by The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), an educational and scientific society uniting the world's computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field's challenges."

Some helpful travel tips for those of you (like us) who are visiting Canada for this "five-day interdisciplinary educational experience."
